We made it! LBG P2P go-live success.

After 2 years of intense and hard effort, the Lloyds Banking Group team have completed the roll out of the largest P2P deployment in the UK. I’ve been extremely proud to be part of this team, and see how we managed to overcome some extreme challenges, not least a global pandemic rocking up as we were about to enter the critical build phase.

But thanks to the dedication of the team and the new tech available (looking at you MS Teams) we were able to carry on at a pace that at times surprised all of us.

Thanks also to the partners involved in this programme who alongside the LBG team put in a serious shift running up to and over the go-live weekend.

So there it is, done, finished….right.? Of course not! Nothing in this world of Procurement Technology stands still, and we have opportunities for enhancements which will deliver further value.
